  • You don’t have to be a graphic designer, but you need a sharp eye for nice design and know your way around Photoshop
  • Excellent (English) communication and leadership skills
  • Would prefer someone in North America, mostly due to time zone and travel issues, but as long as at least part of your working day comes between 10am and 9pm PST, we’re ok
  • Able to travel to the U.S. occasionally for team sprints (and for an initial on-ramping session together)

Skills

  • Top notch CSS, XHTML skills
  • Web standards
  • Expert Drupal site administrator (configuring content, blocks, panels, knowledge of existing modules out there, etc)
  • Project/client management
  • Some JavaScript/jQuery, PHP knowledge
  • Familiarity with SVN, QA site release process is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Sending design requests/edits to designers
  • Reviewing mockups
  • Annotating design mockups for themers, handling complex theming issues
  • Assisting in training of new themers
  • Managing schedule, QA, and release of themes on our site
  • Estimating and managing client theming projects (these are limited in scope and duration)
  • Overseeing handling of theming issues from customer support
  • Keeping on top of the latest and greatest in the Drupal theming world and always looking ahead to improve our process, product, and team (and contribute back to the Drupal community!)
