Custom Front Page

Many of the themes from TopNotchThemes can be configured to have more than one type of layout (e.g., sidebar on the left, sidebar on the right, or no sidebars at all) on a page by page basis.

To achieve different layouts for the different pages of your Drupal site you’ll need to configure block visibility for each page by going to the block admin page located at Administer > Blocks – the clean URL for the block admin page is admin/build/block

Once you are on the block admin page you can configure the individual blocks by clicking on the “configure” link for the block that you wish to modify. On the block’s configuration page there is a section titled “Page specific visibility settings” which allows you to specify where the block will be displayed. You have the option to “show the block on every page except the listed pages” in the “Pages” text area or you can choose to “show on only the listed pages”.
