About the TopNotchThemes team

TopNotchThemes is brought to you by Collective Mind, aka. Christopher Fassnacht and Stephanie Pakrul. We’ve been creating Drupal themes for clients like Amnesty International and WITNESS since 2006. We live and breathe Drupal theming. We established TopNotchThemes because we see how great Drupal is, but felt it has lagged behind other CMSes which have hundreds of fantastic themes available. It’s time for Drupal design to shine!

Chris

Christopher was born to solve big problems. Before deciding that the mainstream corporate world wasn’t his style, he led a web development team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Center for Education Research that created academic and research-focused sites using a variety of web application technologies. Christopher is the co-owner of TopNotchThemes, and developed the underlying technology and design patterns for all our themes. He also wears the SEO expert, browser-bug-squasher, and product development hats.

Steph

Stephanie’s passion is for web design; not just design that looks cool, but design that also does amazing things. Form and function are two sides of the coin she keeps in her pocket, so she creates sites that get things done, but also look great doing it. She has been pursuing efficiency and beauty in web design for over a decade both personally and professionally. Stephanie has an undergraduate degree in I.T. Management from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, and will be starting graduate school at UC Berkeley’s School of Information in Fall 2008. She is the co-owner and theming/project manager at TopNotchThemes, seeing through the theme creation process from concept to execution.

Jay - Themer

Jay Wolf is a long time Drupal themer and contributor to the Drupal community. You may remember him from such themes as Amadou, Barron, Celju, and Golden Hour. He is a full time themer with TopNotchThemes and turns our designs into awesome, feature rich Drupal themes.

 

The TNT Team

We maintain a part-time team of awesome designers, programmers, and support staff who assist with creating the designs, additional Drupal development, and keeping things behind the scenes running like clockwork.

TopNotchThemes is a virtual company, although we most frequently reside in California, USA. We are proudly hosted by iWeb.
